Did you get an Invent the Summer Activity Pack?
What can you create with craft sticks, rubber bands, and a paper straw? A LOT! Check out the videos below to learn how to create a harmonica, catapult, chain reaction, airplane launcher, and more! What else can you make using only these items?
If you didn't get a pack, you can make one yourself. Our packs include:

15 small craft sticks/popsicle sticks

5 large craft sticks

1 wide rubber band (about 1/4" wide)

3-4 regular rubber bands (1/16" - 1/8" wide)

1 paper straw

1 paper clip

What is Invent the Summer?
Invent the Summer was created by kids, for kids. We offer fun weekly engineering challenges and chances to win awesome prizes throughout the summer. All of our challenges can be completed using free/inexpensive materials that you have around your home. Our first challenge will be released on Wednesday, June 21!
Our friendly competition allows kids to engage with, learn from and celebrate each other throughout the summer. There is always more than one way to solve a problem, and it's fun to see all of the different solutions to our challenges! And did we mention those prizes?
